Laura brings a diverse array of experience in grants management and writing, strategic communications, nonprofit development, and scholarly pursuits in the humanities to her work as a Consultant. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Chicago, and she completed Cornell University’s School of Criticism and Theory program in 2018. Laura is motivated by the promise of research and generating new insights through collaboration, and has worked prior to FUND at Ithaka S+R, JSTOR, and the Association of Art Museum Curators, developing and securing funding for research projects and initiatives to improve understanding, equity, and access in the higher education and cultural sectors.
