Mason joined FUND Consulting as a Senior Consultant in 2023. Mason uses his financial knowledge to help the CDFI industry expand opportunities for businesses owned by underserved target markets and strives to advance inclusive economic development. Prior to FUND, Mason was the Director of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at Pathway Lending, a CDFI serving Tennessee. He collaborated with community leaders state-wide to develop educational programming for entrepreneurs in historically distressed regions. Mason has worked with Gibson Brands, where he managed the financial reporting consolidation of global operations. He also worked in public accounting, conducting financial audits, and providing advisory services to businesses.
Mason graduated from the University of Kentucky with degrees in Accounting and Business Management. He is a licensed CPA and a Certified Economic Developer through the University of Tennessee – Center for Industrial Services.
